As part of our effort to enhance the graduate program in the EEB Department, several department faculty and graduate students have identified a number of academic skills, and organized Friday afternoon workshops — a few a semester, depending on availability of leaders and time slots. The concept of these seminars is for a faculty member or graduate student with expertise on one of these topics to lead a discussion with all interested participants, and then put together a document summarizing the topic and providing additional information and references for those who want to pursue it. These documents will be edited and put together as a series, accessible from the EBIO webpage. For further information, suggestions, or corrections, please contact the series editor, Thomas W. Sherry.
